The House


It is a 15th century building that has been completely renovated from top to bottom. This is a classic stone row house, in a hill village set in the midst of sun drenched vineyards. The vineyards are a 2 minute walk, on tiny streets that barely allow a car to pass through. The plumbing, telephone and electrical have been updated to current standards. Heating is by a combination of wood, gas and electric. Pains have been taken to preserve much of the original outer walls and unique arches in the old building. Because of the marble quarry nearby, many of these houses were stonecutters and carvers homes.
