Food

In the past we have run a "food kitty". Each participant has contributed approximately 60€ to 70€ a week. There are always several good cooks around who like to make us meals.

You may join us on our food-buying excursions to local markets, village merchants and big supermarkets. This alone is an amazing cultural experience.

We tend to live French style with fresh bread and croissants, coffee, home-made jams and honeys from the markets every morning, eating a light lunch (picnic or restaurant) wherever we are, and then returning home for a late dinner on the terrace. We barbecue often as the weather permits (i.e. nearly every day).
